Brookside's Mock Trial Team competes in Law Adventure, a state-wide contest run by the New Jersey State Bar Foundation. Students in 7th and 8th grade are invited to join the club if they have an interest in law, the justice system or creative writing! Each year, we learn about how the legal system works, and our team creates an original case based on themes selected by the NJSBF. The year ends with a trip to the NJSBF at Rutgers University, where we have the opportunity to present our case in front of a real judge (if our case is chosen as a winner) and serve as jurors for other presenting schools.
